So some members are liking this deal ! Care to explain why they "like" profiteering when 250ml bottles are going for under £1 . Sometimes I despair !

I thought the price was fair for 500ml that's why i posted it.

Best in mind no one thought of paying up to £3.0 for 50ml for some brands and even more before the shortage.

I have never seen bottles this price. And I have been purchasing quality products for a long time.

Maybe I am looking at the fact when you purchase product for the food industry a litre bottle used to cost up to £40. So no idea what it will be now if any available

Think though for 500ml it's ok compared to most but bear in mind that Carex used to charge about £1.50 for 50ml.

Should we really allow such "deals" if the price isn't really good but only *slightly less inflated* due to the current situation...?

Not sure what you mean the price is not bad considering what carex used to charge £1.50 for 100ml. There is a massive manufacturing shortage. There is a distillery in Edinburgh stopped production of drinks to make this that's how short the country is@angemski

Mind if you use bleach to dilute it and moisturiser after. And don't touch your face or eyes for a while after.

A 1litre bottle of bleach diluted down into 50 1litre spray bottles.

Like

Agreed,

I commented above its so bad a distillery in Edinburgh has stopped producing drinks to make hand sanitiser to help. When you have NHS staff posting on my local FB pages for gloves, mask, hand gel and for the public to drop them off it makes me sad and mad.

Some people need this for medical reasons hence the post.@Thomas18

Even with the discount it still seems a little expensive. It is good to know where to get some if you really need it though.

Not sure what you mean by this, I thought in was doing the correct thing.

I have only just started on here but I have seen posts that's are not even offers or deals to get points.

I was not expecting so much opinions to be honest.

Compared to what I am seeing on eBay and Amazon it's a fair price for 500mls

suziq6 £8.99 is not a good price at any time for 500ml of alcohol handgel but don't let me or anybody else put you off posting other deals. You're right about other posts not being deals!

suziq6 your never going to win. Yes, it's expensive, yes it's not a great deal, however in our current situation with Covid-19, people still having to work, be that NHS staff, shop workers, taxi drivers, pharmacists, delivery drivers, etc. With the shortage of normal priced hand sanitisers being stockpiled over the last month, desperate times and all that. To protect oneself and their family. We all have a choice wither to buy or not to buy. 😏

I agree with all of you regarding the price being inflated and them profiteering however unfortunately this will be the case for a while. I’m really thankful for whoever posted this as I have been searching every single day to find a place that has any in stock. Poundstretcher and places like sell it so cheap but at the moment there’s no sign of being in stock anytime soon And once it is it will fly off the shelves again. So I am willing to pay this if it means I can get it within the next couple of days And the fact it will last me a while.

Thanks for posting this. I think it's a fair deal, I work as a courier and we are now classed as key workers. It's hard to get hold of sanitizers, so I thought this was a fair price compared to some companies' prices. I've ordered 2. So again thanks for posting this. Everyone has their own opinion so please dont slate the poster of this deal as she was only helping those that need it
