In-Store Price Glitch? Whole Chicken + Onken Yoghurts
Deal hunter juggler1 has posted online a potential glitch at one of UK's largest supermarkets in-store.
Here's how it works:
- Get two Onken yoghurts and one large whole chicken
- In supermarket's latest magazine (free), there are two £1 coupons for Onken yoghurts.
- But the Onken yoghurts are already 2 for £2
- When applied at checkout, the coupons seem to apply to the total basket value, including the chicken.
- The total price works out to be £1.05
- Get Tesco Clubcard - You get points, rewards, coupons and exclusive Clubcard Prices.
- Use our free supermarket price comparison app - see if Tesco is cheaper than Aldi, ASDA, Iceland, Morrisons, Ocado, Sainsbury's and Waitrose.
- Minimum order value is £25 for free click and collect, otherwise there is a £4 fee.
- Join our Facebook Group, Cheap Supermarket Cooking. Members share supermarket deals, recipe ideas, and what's cooking at home.
toffeehammer surely the glitch is that 2 for £2 discount has come off twice ?
darrenpearce36 Ah yes...I see it now. D'oh! It's because the discount for the yoghurts is £1.20 each, not £1 (Coupon)
toffeehammer Possibly unachievable as the checkout op has also taken 2 coupons which state 1 per transaction
I've re-shared this glitch which was originally found by juggler1. So not sure I'm afraid.
