Combine spotting the Big Five and other iconic wildlife in with a paradisical beach stay on this action-packed adventure. Starting in the coastal hotspot of Mombasa, you’ll enjoy time winding down on the sand, before trying your luck spotting wildlife in the famous Tsavo East National Park. You’ll then either head home or you can opt to continue to Amboseli National Park, famous for its picture-perfect views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and Tsavo West National Park.
Mombasa caters to travellers of all kinds, whether water babies, adventure-seekers or nature lovers; it's home to stunning white-sand beaches, as well as national sanctuaries, parks and reserves. Staying at Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa, you'll have access to all the sun, sand, sea, spa sessions and serenity you could ever need - and you can even opt to go all-inclusive on the Kenyan beachfront. After this blissful break, it's on to the wilds of Tsavo East National Park for game drives galore.
Your base here will be the Ashnil Aruba Lodge, a secluded lodge offering deluxe guestrooms and luxury tents close to the famous Aruba Dam. Enjoy two included game drives whilst you’re here with the hope of spotting lions, leopards and more. Post-safari, pull up a pew by the pool and enjoy a sundowner watching that famous African sunset. You’ll then either head back to Mombasa to catch your flight home or will continue onto Amboseli National Park for a stay at Sentrim Amboseli Camp. Here, you’ll get to enjoy picture-perfect views of Mount Kilimanjaro from the comfort of your deluxe tent and will also get to enjoy another game drive, as well as optional nature walks, village visits and Maasai dances.
You’ll then head back towards Mombasa, stopping for one more safari stay at the Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge in Tsavo West National Park. The park itself is famous for its open grasslands, rocky ridges and prolific wildlife. Tick off the last of your Big Five spotting, before winding down with a treatment at one of the park's flagship lodges; the perfect end to your adventure-filled holiday.
