$14 for 120GB seems like a brilliant deal but if you're planning on storing sensitive data on it, don't risk it. Even the reliable ones can sometimes get corrupted, let alone generic ones.
A SanDisk 64GB microSD card that I had was corrupted but to be fair, it was the phone that did it and left it more or less DRM'd than actually corrupted. It's still recognized as such, but can't be used. Even the phone isn't able to format it. Oh well, at least I backed up all (I resetted the phone but didn't expect this to happen).
