• Age: 10 years; matured in ex‑Bourbon barrels.
• Region/style: Islay single malt, known for its heavy peat smoke.
• Production note: Malted barley is cold‑smoked and dried over peat fires, a traditional technique contributing to the smoky character.
• Tasting profile: bold smokiness with hints of salty seaweed, surprising sweetness and a lingering finish; natural sparkling gold colour.
• Serving: typically enjoyed neat, with ice, or in cocktails; a tulip or snifter glass is recommended for nosing.
• Packaging: new bottle design is being rolled out — you may receive previous packaging while stocks last; liquid unchanged.
• Producer: Beam Suntory (Springburn Bond, Glasgow).
• Awards: listed honours include Double Gold at major competitions and high critic scores in recent years.
