Sounds a great deal, will have a look, as an alternative for DH, as his Paygo, will shortly run out. Thanks for posting

Humbug1950 wow, I didn't think there'd be such bad coverage, I guess Vodafone isn't investing in you area. My local area has better Three coverage.

mervynjohn54 as long you aren't currently using the number on an existing Lebara SIM, yes.

BarryCoope80007 yes, I've got a previous deal from November and WiFi is included on Lebara

I have heard these are very good chips ..might see how they compare to what i have already ..thanks

Have Lebara already and am really pleased with the service and it's great that they have a telephone customer service. 10/10

Unfortunately, just like 99% of other companies that offer low price deal's, the low price deal's are for NEW CUSTOMERS ONLY.
That is unless you want to change your mobile number every time you sign up for a low price deal.
I was under the impression that the "pricing commission" had stopped ALL of this type of low price deal's and that ALL customers, old or new, were to be given the same choices with regards to low price deal's or discounts.

thelicencee I've wondered, you sign up, you need to fill in an email so would it count as new customer if you use the same one even if you use the new sim number?

thelicencee the Price Commission act has nothing to do with how a company can use incentives to gain new customers. It is to do with inflation.
If you want to keep your number on the same network and get a new deal, you have to port out the number you want to keep, and port it back into the network. It takes around a week to do both steps, and depending on the network you choose in the interim, you might have to top up the PAYG SIM before you can port out again, although I haven't come across a network that does that in a long time.

thelicencee why would you have to change your number????? Ever heard of porting your number?

kanedaku I did exactly this. Ported my existing Lebara number to an Asda free SIM (ordered on-line) on Monday gave it a day and then ported back for the £1 deal on Wednesday. Easy and saving nearly £3 a month over the year. Get involved people

SueGall when I spoke to Lebara CS, about taking our new deals, CS: Ans.....as an existing Lebara customer you are NOT allowed to just move to a new offer, unless you want to have a new mobile number ever time. I also asked about "porting" my existing number and then "porting" it back on to the new sim card, CS Ans:: this would ALSO NOT be allowed as BOTH accounts WOULD have the same email address.

thelicencee Thanks, really grateful for the info and you actually asking. This is what I thought, as there's a feature in the online account where you can add and delete sim cards i.e different phone numbers but your account is linked to email. I had wondered if the 'new customer' sims could be added on the same account.

SueGall I do have multiple email addresses but I considered ordering not just myself but for my parents as well so a minimum of 3 emails each time - it's rather a lot of effort for me to keep on top of that many emails & accounts. I also don't really having too accounts with the same name/account holder - there's probably small print that doesn't allow it? - I don't feel all that safe.
I also wondered about the email as you can/delete sims on your lebara account

dancehallting When you ported back did you use the same email - add it to your original lebara account?

Also be aware that if Lebara overcharge you, and they often do, when they "REFUND" you, it goes into your "account credit", NOT back to the debited account, there is NO way you can get your "cash" back. You have to use the credit to buy "another product or service from Lebara".
So if you want to leave Lebara you lose/forfeit YOUR MONEY.

thelicencee it's pay as you go, so there is no DD guarantee (I believe the payments are classed as standing orders)
This is the same with all payg deals on all networks.

thelicencee Not my experience, I've been with Lebara for a few years now and when required have always received credit back to my previous payment method.

kanedaku I don't have a PAYG account with Lebara, however THEY STILL put my overcharge CREDIT into the PAYG allocation, which, without changing MY ACCOUNT, I am unable to USE and Lebara CS advise..."Unfortunately, any CREDIT balance in the PAYG section of the account is NOT transferable nor redeemable, even though it was a mistake by Lebara, and can ONLY be used to purchase other Lebara services"

thelicencee all Lebara accounts are PAYG. When you have a monthly bundle where you are deducted an amount either from usable balance or via a payment via your bank is inconsequential - you have not set up a credit account and Lebara, as do Lyca Mobile, TalkHome and some other MVNOs, offer monthly bundles.

These deals are ok, but not enough data, 12gb is nothing really, ok for very light use over a month but for daily use not enough , I got one for my daughter before Christmas, she always complaining her data has run out lol

Nice offer with a great price, was thinking about changing my provider and an offer like this is too good to miss out on, I certainly will be taking up this offer! Thanks very much for posting this.

I'm such an absolute fan of latest deals for which my network is still Labara and I have to say ,it's great

thats a great plan - myne needs to be renewed soon so will look then if this is still active then
thanks for sharing

Use Lebara. Great signal, Good service. If you're not with them. You'll save a lot of money.

I am currently on lebara and my special rate has now expired, I have checked the T&Cs and see no mention of new users only. Does anyone know if I can just keep taking these deals out every 6 months or am i not allowed to?

thelicencee hmmm ok thanks for that information, seems you had the same idea as i did. Maybe it would work if i go to another networks for a longer period of time and then take out an offer with lebara after say 6 months.
