True, but the its the 12 month Guarantee that matters to most when you buy from Amazon.
I still buy loads of things from Ali-express/Gearbest/Banggood, but I do so knowing that if anything goes wrong its just tough luck
Deanos I think you'll find that these are in fact covered by the Amazon guarantee - as is anything else sold by marketplace resellers (with the possible exception of digital goods)

Anyway, I see that the Amazon device being sold here is rechargeable via usb, whereas those you've linked to on Ali-Express take AAA Batteries

restyler So it arrived today, and I'm disappointed to say that the one they've sent is not rechargeable via usb, as it is one of the cheaper ones that just takes AAA batteries.
Message of complaint sent to sellers - will update on outcome.
At least I can confirm that this IS covered by the amazon guarantee, & if the seller fails to do anything, amazon will refund the money
Deanos Unfortunately though, its not as easy as Amazon's, as the buyer usually has to pay for the items return & then try & claim that back if the seller agrees that the item was defective when sold.
I still buy from Ali-express, but do so on the understanding that if it goes wrong then its just too much of a faff to return it
