5 STARS - Ideal for boys and girls

I bought this little set for a 2yr old girl. It's an interesting way to introduce numbers, colours, building blocks etc. The characters are a boy and girl along with a little cat. I am surprised that most reviews are of this set being given to boys but it's lovely for little girls too. 5 STARS - Great! And adorable too. My son has recently become obsessed with trains. I saw this at the LEGO store the other day and knew I had to get it for him. He's also been talking up a storm and loves counting so it was the perfect toy for him. He loves it; carries it everywhere around the house. He's 2.5 and pulling apart the bricks and putting them back together in different shapes is great for him. I highly suggest this item to anyone who's small children love trains.
