Just to let you know, been with blink for around 2 years, pain in the bum they are, batteries need swapping every couple of weeks depending on activities and batteries are lithium which cost a lot, plus like ring they charge subscription for video recording, live is free, just a hassle tbh
Mantis I agree. While it is handy to have, you need to place the cameras offset to the area you need to cover, as sometimes the sun shining directly on it can fool the system. The cameras don’t always pick up a lot. I have had the xt2, which were the 2nd version of the blink cameras. No subscription needed, at that time. These newer cameras need a subscription tho. I recently added the video doorbell which I get charged about £3 a month. Do your research. Like anything else, it’s fits and starts. Ok as a basic system. Worth the 30 odd quid, reduced from 80 odd. Best wait for further Easter sales, which will be happening in a couple of weeks. Or do a Google search for blink cameras, no subscription needed. Good luck.
