This Kentucky straight bourbon is finished by adding ten seared French oak staves to fully matured cask-strength Maker’s Mark, then resting the barrels in a limestone cellar for a further nine weeks at a consistent 50 degrees to build flavour without extracting bitter tannins. Tasting notes highlight caramel, vanilla and baking spice with a long, layered finish.
