I am able to add to basket, but upon checkout it says this. I'd use PayPal for added payment protection if you're going to take the punt. Image

Nice price, be aware its 110v meaning youll need a transformer. Good for tradies who already use 110v but all the diy‘ers will find these useless.

Hope everyone noticed it's 110V and it won't work around your house without a transformer? If you know you have one of those, go ahead, great buy!

Great find, wicks is literally across the road from my office too so will pop in on my lunch - no idea what a transformer is or if my hubby has one so on second thoughts think I'll give this a miss!!!

Basically the UK has a 240 volt power supply. This drill works on 110 volts (which is what other countries have). So you have to get a special plug that changes it (called a transformer... it "transforms" the voltage)...

Something like this I think will work (Can someone confirm please? I'm not an expert!): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200W-UK-US-240V-TO-110V-High-Voltage-Transformer-Step-Down-Up-Power-Converter-UK-/323588733083

You may be able to find cheaper, I haven't looked too hard. Still works out very cheap.

Basically you need a transformer box to be able to use it on a standard house plug. It won't work if you just plug it directly Into house plug.

Didn't read it properly either. Thought I'd be able to get one and use it to put wires through house without having to ask my friend as always. Can't cancel order as they having system problems! Need to call after you received delivery confirmation

and the fact it is in the 'Clearance' section, I suspect they have stock just sitting there and want to get rid, to perhaps introduce a new model. I wouldn't class this as a glitch really...but staying open minded!

People asking about 110v power, and the link above to an eBay item. Actually you’ll need something like this.

The one one a few comments above seems to be for small household appliances with regular plugs. This still will almost certainly have the round plug shown here.

I paid through PayPal about an hour ago and it said they can’t give me a delivery date at moment but will email. I’m a bit worried though as I haven’t received a confirmation email to say I’ve paid. Has anyone else not had email after paying?

Decent diy SDS drill, I picked up a 'faulty' one a few years back for £0.99, it had a jammed chuck. 1hr labour and it's still working great now.
