Such a shame to see another high street store go bought my first ever pram here 18 years ago
Lady in store says the website isn't showing discounts at the moment but should be rectified later on today x
I agree itβs so sad to see mothercare go, Iβm now a grandmother of 5 with another on the way.
Heartbreaking to see yet another long running high street store going, sadly they wont be the last either.
Was always going to happen with the prices they charge, even with half pride sales half the stuff prob still over priced compared to others
Sad to see that they are closing down. My local one closed down years ago but when my kids were younger I often used to go there.
a shame did all my shopping in for the kids 15 yrs ago. been online for my niece and nephew but no great reductions . not even half price.
Another shop going out of business
itβs such a shame in my lifetime we will lose the high street and we only have our selfs to blame
Such a shame my first born had everything from here 30 years ago just been in cos they have the best hot chocolate and nothing is reduced at the fort manchester, so sorry to see these shops disappearing from our high streets
Im just looking just now,my daughter is having a wee boy so granny Liz is going to spend lol ,going to share this on FB x
It is very sad to see these high street shops all closing down, bought loads from mother care over the year's
this is sad news to hear that the store is going to close. But we can still by many quality products from this store.
This is an easy thing to fix reduce business rates on shops and increase relevant taxes of online stores by taxing warehouses and courier deliveries plus packaging. I'm not suggesting a quick fix without much thought but it's not difficult to create taxes that aid bricks and mortar stores. Wasn't there some mention of an increased minimum wage in this election so that will effect many more shops and cause more closures. I'm no better than anyone else if I want to see what a product is like I look at it instore and then buy it online for the best price but you can make online more expensive if you want to.
Sad news but great to grab some bargains, my local Mothercare closed down ages ago but I will have a look online, thanks for sharing
I used to enjoy shopping there but towards the end as their debt raised so did their prices and they just couldn't keep up with Amazon and unfortunately few businesses can these days!
