Hi,
I reckon we're going to be 'encouraged' to wear a face mask or DIY face coverings imminently when we go out, to catch our coughs and sneezes.
Covering the mouth and nose can stop asymptomatic carriers speading the virus about when they cough or sneeze. Of course wearing one doesn't stop you from getting it, but does help protect other people.
No doubt there won't be enough face masks to go around, and we'll be encouraged to make our own, or to use a scarf.
Handy with a sewing machine? Make a sleeve to insert a large coffee filter paper too. Then chuck out the filter paper after use and wash the bandana.
Easy solution? Wear a bandana.
Shein have lots of bandanas in various designs and sizes.
Johnny Top Tip! Get an extra large one. Ideally at least 60cm square so you can tie a knot behind your head. This one pictured is 70cm square.
I suggest you do a test like this. Cut a large piece of newspaper to the size you are buying. Then fold the square in half diagonally, hold it over your mouth and nose and see if it's big enough to tie behind your head.
Standard shipping is £4 or FREE on orders over £35, so you may want to buy two or three, or other clothing.
