What a great price for the big tin! Will definitely be ordering this. Thank you for sharing this
This is an absolutely amazing deal if you have friends with their own families and you want to gain some friendship points
This big box with sweeties can be specially useful for Christmas,to treat guests or just yourself;)
Have i got this wrong ? 2 x 650 gm tubs being sold at all supermarkets for £5.90 - £6 . That's 2.6 kg for less than £12 ? Do your sums ?
This is a brilliant price and the cheapest i have seen these yet. I will be buying some for Christmas presents. Thank You
This is not a deal compared to the supermarkets. if you buy 2 tubs from the supermarkets it works out cheaper and you get more. Can't believe people think this is a good deal.
Sadly if Chocolates / Biscuits /Amazon are in a deal member's mental arithmetic appears to go completely out of the window ?
To help members - a 650 gm tub at a Supermarket is currently £2.95 - £3 ? - £4.61 per kg - This deal is £5.55 per kg . Any member still consider this a good deal ?
Good deal. That's a lot of chocolate for just over £11. Thank you for sharing the deal with us.
Great deal for people like me in the Channel Islands, we don’t have the big supermarkets here, and everything’s so expensive. £9.26 for me (they take the tax off) so it’s a from me
The family love ❤ this time of year with lot's of naughty treats like this about, How can one resist . Thank you for sharing
If 2000grams = 2kg how do members work out buying 2 tubs at 650grams each tub is cheaper? Or am I just bad at math. 2x 650grams =1300grams.
Oh dear ! 650gm tubs are £3 each at the Supermarkets . I'll let you redo the maths from there .
Golfforall sorry I'm nit very good at math but I can't find the 650g tubs for £3. The cheapest I'm finding them are £4. Upwards . Sorry if I'm being a bit dense here. But I'll take you're word for it
LisaKirkbride https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/deals/christmas-chocolate-tubs-2-599-morrisons . Similar at all the major supermarkets .
Golfforall Thank you for your input.
You often find things in better packaging or gifting items to cost slightly more if you compare weight etc. You can get Maltesers for example in gifting packages that cost slightly more than the packets, but which would look better as a gift?
I posted this deal as this particular gifting tin is the lowest price it's been posted as far as I can see https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/deals?search=Nestle+Quality+Street+Tin,+2kg
And the lowest it's ever been
I personally think as a gift it looks more special than the supermarket plastic tubs.
Value for money isn't always just about weight comparison in my opinion.
I didn't even know 2kg tubs were around! Maybe they will last slightly longer in my house!!
