I tried using the Alexa app and I have prime but to no avail. It quoted me the price of £89.99 and told me the date it would arrive. Not sure what happened.
Maybe try again or see if you can order with your voice? It's definitely still working
rayman1862 seems to be a lot of promotion actors on here, leading people astray, we are not dumb and know how to read instructions successfully, waste of time and effort this charade, is my opinion speaking from this experience

I've downloaded the alexa app, where do you go to order it it just say about linking and existing echo?
Make sure you have Prine and account is linked to your Alexa app say “Alexa order Fire HD 8 ” it puts it in your basket. Open the Prime app and tap on “Buy Now” and get the discount.
Is this still working? I've tried through the alexa app and i have prime but its still quoting £89.99
Sorry to be stupid, how do I check that? I've logged in with my username and password for amazon and I have a prime account, so I'm just assuming it will be linked? emmabeckz
KerrieThompson it should be then if same account password but some people have more than 1 account. Discount will show in the basket just before you check out

Aren't these slowing down quite quickly nowadays? I avoided this tablet because the reviews aren't promising.
Just ordered one great price for my kids for Christmas, my mum also has amazon prime so got her to order me a second one x
I can confirm this is genuine deal and working. You have to have Alexa even on your phone and allow it to order and you can just ask it to add to your basket.
I was having problems until I asked Alexa to order a fire hd8 tablet and she gave the offer price and added it to my basket
