Free Supermarket Price Comparison Tool

Latest Deals has made a new supermarket price comparison tool.
- The tool is available in the Latest Deals app.
- If you already have the Latest Deals app, follow the instructions below.
- Update to the latest version
- Tap the Menu icon (bottom right)
- Press "Supermarket Price Comparison"
- Start searching!
What does it do?
The supermarket price comparison tool looks at 8 supermarkets: Tesco, Sainsbury's, ASDA, Morrisons, Iceland, ALDI, Ocado and Waitrose.
Type in your search, for example, "toilet roll", and see the cheapest prices.

The tool is a MySupermarket alternative. Many people have been upset since MySupermarket closed down, and so we have built a simple replacement. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but does the core job: compare prices at supermarkets.
The app is free to download in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Press search and you'll see the tool available for you to use.
Is the Supermarket Comparison Tool available on the website?
No. The tool is only available within the free Latest Deals app.

1) Search for discount codes here
2) Sort deals by category and topic
3) Find deals for a specific retailer here
4) Use our Amazon tool to find hidden discounts
5) Want to make money online? Top paid survey sites
Please work on a website version if possible. Makes it more difficult when trying to use another app for offers ie, checkoutsmart or Greenjinn
Dennab Yes definitely! Given the rather short timeline we're all very pleased with how it's working for a first version (touch wood!) 
Good luck with it. I suppose you have a bit of time to tweak while supermarket buying habits have gone off on a tangent anyway. A lot of us are of course limited to whatever is round the corner

Doesnt work as shown! Just offers me deals, not a list of an item showing prices at different supermarkets.

Please make sure you've updated to the latest version of the app and are searching within the Supermarket Price Comparison tool (if you just do a regular search you'll only see the Latest Deals posts)
I always said I would always do my shopping in person not on line so as a newbie to online grocery shopping I will really need this
Is there a separate app for this like before or.do I have to come on here to then have to.find it?
SimonSearspicca It is through the latest deals app that you find the tool, in the subsection where the amazon and domino's sections are.
Good that it's available, I thought it's a real shame that my supermarket closed down, however they were so annoying with all the pop ups, when trying to check any product, and every time, even after making an account that they kinda deserved to leave.
Is this working for anyone? I've updated my app but keep going back to the Google Play page 'Uninstall or Open' round and round in circles?!
Please use the supermarket price comparison tool within the app, rather than looking at all the deals.

I haven't seen one of these up in a while. Looks really great. It would be useful.
A good replacement for the supermarket compassion site have been using it already.
Search performance is poor. Example. βDigestive -chocolate β should return all non chocolate digestive products
Hi bobminchin Thanks for the feedback. This is a beta version that we wanted to get out to people as soon as possible so that they could hopefully start benefitting from it immediately. If there's demand we can certainly look to implement smarter filters for search
bobminchin I just installed it and look for some items as we speak. I guess you'll have to type more details in the search bar to get better results. It's not brilliant, but it's better than nothing

Hey Once you have the latest version of the app installed please tap the menu icon (bottom right) then choose "Supermarket Price Comparison" and then you can search for the products you're after. Hope that's some help but please shout if any issues!

This is something i will find really usefull when im not afraid to go out and can choose different supermarkets like i normally do 
Think I will have a good luck at this site. Only thing is at this time I donβt want to be trawling different shops.
Great idea but despite your screen shots and instructions it just wont load. Just keeps taking me back to the same page.
