Bossclaz I have got the 15 in 1 foodi but it doesn’t get used every day or sometimes not even every week. I see lots of Facebook posts from people who use theirs for everything and say they have used their oven or hob since they got it.
The thing we use least is air fry to be honest - although it does do nice bacon and you don’t have to stand over a pan.
pwclayton The thing to realise about an airfryer is they are in effect a mini fan oven -no more no less . They do of course do chips (as your fan oven will ) .
I have two ( a 4.3 litre and 5.5 litre ) and rarely use my main oven . Two reasons :-
1 )Much more efficient in the use of electricity
2) Much easier to clean .
I have said many times (do members ever read comments ? ) That 1.5 litre airfryers are only good for a small portion of chips (so no use to most ) . You need at least a 4 litre model to cook for 2-3 people , preferably 2 to cook a complete meal .
They are not solely a replacement for a deep fat fryer really , more an efficient (easier clean) replacement for a fan oven . I think once folks realise that perhaps folks will realise how much money they can save when cooking .
Sadly as long as members fawn over the totally useless 1.5 litre airfryers for £30-£35 we have a lot of education needed ?
