On Monday 19th August Northern Railway are having a big flash sale where they are selling single Advance train tickets for just 10p for travel on Northern services in September. AND kids aged 5-15 travel half price and can go for 5p!
Tickets are subject to availability and on selected northern routes.
10p train tickets! I can't believe my eyes! I don't think I've ever seen UK train tickets so cheap. It's practically free and the 10p is probably just to cover the transaction cost of booking the ticket. If you live in any of the locations and can get on board this is a brilliant opportunity to save.
The are loads to and from all Blackpool stations.
Remember you have to travel in September to get the 10p tickets
how do you actually find 10p tickets, its saying from 10p but every search i try is then coming up at £40-£60 
Can’t find Any 10p tickets , I’ve checked lots of stations and different dates but no luck 
managed to find some they are for sept got Sheff to York return for 40p for me and my boyfriend 
Is this a joke? I've put in a search several times and just states the full price when it takes me to the next page
Managed to get 10p ticket from Blackpool to Manchester.
Only 10p ticket coming back is 5am
All the other tickets are £34 on the return journey
The are loads of 10p tickets out bound.... naff all return

Managed to get Blackpool south to Piccadilly for 10p
Then played around with station
Got Oxford road to Blackpool north for 10p (on the way back ) 40p for 2 for a day out in Manchester
Such a shame there is no single one going from London (any station) for that price. I would of travel to any UK destination for that price

So day tip to Manchester 20p return each

Omg not sure what the catch is but booked a return journey for 20p per person, who does like a bargain and an adventure.
I think it is a brilliant idea and for people like me who travel by rail a lot is a good saving !!

Great find I got carlisle to newcastle one way for 20p x2 adults 1x 5 year old 5p and 2 under 5s for free I got tickets from Newcastle to carlisle for the same as a single so 50p return
