Depending on variety, the skin will vary from dark purple/brown/black to medium/dark green, and from knobbly to smooth. These ripe and ready avocados have an exquisitely rich, buttery-smooth flesh with a creamy texture that melts in your mouth. They have a mildly nutty flavour (similar to almonds or cashews), a hint of sweetness and earthy undertones.
