Love this site. I decided to do a degree linked to my job and I used these to do it. My work helped me pay for each year and although it took 5 years it was such a lovely feeling when I had completed . The tutors were very good and they were really helpful with their guidance.

I have been a student at the Open University for nearly a year now, I have completed my first module. I could not recommend any better University; especially one which is suited to distant learning. The tutors are great, the tutorials available are also like no other - you are able to select between a face-to-face tutorial or an online tutorial (or both). You do not feel like you are missing out when you compare it to other Universities which aren't a distant learning institution. The support you are able to have with not only your Student Support Teams but with the career advisers and even the disability support team is incredible. One of the many reasons I left my previous University was due to the lack of support and I am completely shocked by how good the support you can receive at the Open University is. If I could, I would rate this a lot higher than excellent. If you are looking to start University but are interested in distant learning, then I highly suggest you check out The Open University.
