aleclloyd thanks so much, just read HUKD reviews & really bad. Yet Argos are really good, so I ordered yesterday. Definitely cancelling order now. No wonder this cheap
ivenailedit what can be so wrong with a towel? I thing this is a great price and worth going for it
Thomas18 they said that they aren’t as big as usual Bath sheets & they leave fluff in machine, bath & on you. Strange to be negative on my own post, but I’m out.
Thomas18 honestly, as the below comments says, if they leave fluff - this. is. hell. Mum just got some cheapish bath/beach towels about a month ago, we were looking for thin ones, not fluffy ones, to save space for travel and in the washing machine. Mum was looking for ones that look similar to a fantastic (I think Croatian) brand towels bought on holidays in Croatia years ago that had nice prints, were thin, dried you skin well and dried themselves quickly. The ones we bought at first looked fine, after first wash I had to vaccum the whole bathroom (where we keep the washing machine, lol, I know not common in the UK), the washing machine drains into the bath tub and a hell lot of tiny fluff bits from the towel were left in the tub and on the floor after I took them out. And that was only the first wash, I thought fine, now I will shake it off and it will be fine. After the first wash I tried using them and thought they don't really get the water off me. Fine. They often are sealed with stuff, let's wash again. More fluff, still not soaking the water in well, and a hell lot of fluff on the floor under where the towels hang. What a nuisance. Don't buy poor quality towels.
cookiewithcarro I agree. If it's such a pain you're better without them. I need to say it's a surprise to see such a big brand like Argos selling such poor quality
They are much larger than bath towels, so cover more of your body, hence dry you quicker (if decent quality)
