This model is designed for high-resolution audio reproduction. By connecting to an Ultra HD Blu-ray player or recorder with an HDMI cable, high-resolution sounds recorded onto a Blu-ray DiscTM can be accurately reproduced. Reproduction is also possible for high-resolution music files stored on the HDD of a Blu-ray recorder, a USB memory device connected to the USB terminal of a Blu-ray player or recorder, a USB hard disk, or NAS (Network Attached Storage). These high-resolution sound sources can be accurately reproduced with sound-enhancing technology such as Panasonic's original, high-performance LincsD Amp, a full-digital amp.

The SB1's compact size (only 43cm wide) gives you flexibility for set up. Despite its size, this 2.1 channel speaker system achieves dynamic sound by utilising high-resolution tweeters and full-range speakers (1 each in right & left speaker cabinets), and one upward-facing subwoofer. By delivering the robust bass sounds of the subwoofer from a centre slit, it allows listeners to experience direct, dynamic bass sounds. The SB1's designed to allow you to easily enjoy high quality sound from your TV. The4K/HDR Pass Through function transmits 4K/HDR video signals from an Ultra HD Blu-ray player or other device directly to the TV. When connected to a CEC compatible TV, the sound volume can be controlled, and the power turned ON and OFF by the TV's remote control.
