Does anyone really make their own chips anymore, given the fact they are so cheap frozen, £9.99 can buy you a lot of frozen chips......
I know it's not good for you, but you can't beat hand cut chips in a deep fat fryer. Frozen ones are OK for day to day, but as a treat - making your own chips / wedges and adding spices or deep frying. So good!
I bought one of these ages ago they are good I never use it tho but love homemade chips rather than the frozen ones
