The Pouch Chrome Extension on Dragons Den - How Do I Get It?
Update - You Can Now Get The Latest Deals Chrome Extension here
Pouch is a Google Chrome extension as featured on BBC Dragons Den. It searches for voucher codes as you browse the web and shop online.
We met with Pouch founders Vikram Simha, Jonny Plein and Ben Corrigan and were impressed with the simple money saving tool. So we wanted to ask you, Latest Dealers, what you think of it?
How do I get Pouch?
To install the Google Chrome extension, press the blue button above. It will take you to the Chrome Web store where you can test it:
What voucher codes can I get?
As featured on BBC Dragon's Den, when you're shopping at large UK high street shops such as ASOS, Argos or Curry's PC World, Pouch will automatically look for official discount codes and highlight them to you. It works with over 3,000 retailers both big and small.
Remember my money mantra: always look for a code - never buy full price.

The Pouch extension sounds like a decent idea - and great that they've followed in Deepak's (and many others) footprints and found fame via Dragon's Den. For anyone reading - I believe Pouch will be on Dragon's Den on Sunday 20th August 2017
Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to meet with the founders - do you know if they have any plans to bring out a version of Pouch that works on mobile?
Always working on secret new features for LD so love innovative ideas like this one!
Hey Kelsey, at the moment, Pouch is only available on desktop with Google Chrome (as far as I am aware). You can't get it on mobile which is a shame, as finding voucher codes when shopping from my phone would be a great bonus!
If you can find a way to develop a voucher code extension for mobile, I'm sure they'd be more than happy to work together with us.
Tom I'll have to get my geek hat on - there must be a way to get Pouch-like functionality on mobile. At least on Android if not on iOS. Android uses Chrome after all - although sadly it isn't the same extension platform as for desktop browsers.
With our ever growing database of voucher codes having some sort of on-site alert for members of LD would be rather helpful!
Do you reckon Deepak's inclusion on Dragon's Den excludes us from going on too? I reckon Peter Jones might like us. A little scared of Deborah Meaden though!
Kelsey Ha! I'm sure my previous suit tailoring experience might help swing Peter Jones' vote. Deborah Meaden does seem to be a tough cookie but if Deepak managed to, can't see why not. I'm looking forward to watching the Dragon's Den episode on Sunday, BBC 1 I think? I hope Pouch does well as it's a great Chrome Extension.
Apparently there's two new Dragons including Tej Lalvani, CEO of Vitabiotics. He's an interesting chap (you've probably see the Wellman adverts featuring David Gandy?).
New Dragon's are always exciting in the Den! Although they've been through quite a few recently:
- Kelly Hoppen
- Duncan Bannatyne
- James Caan
- Who else has been and gone in a season or two?
I wonder if the Dragons think it'll make them millionaires with the TV exposure (or perhaps billionaires ) but the reality is different? Is it just Peter Jones left from the original lineup? Him and the presenter Evan Davis perhaps?
Interesting that I didn't see any of the Dragon's on the recent BBC pay-reveal. I don't think it excluded BBC Two and with how long Mr Jones' has been the show I'd have thought he might have featured! Perhaps they don't get paid that much and rely on making money from their investments. That would be far more entrepreneurial I guess...
Fingers crossed for Pouch becoming the next Reggae Reggae source. Good luck to the guys!
