  • AZ3 Pro chip for improved performance and Omnisense technology for enhanced ambient sensing (temperature/presence).
  • Built‑in smart home hub to pair and control thousands of Alexa‑compatible devices without a separate hub.
  • Centre auto‑framing camera with 3.3× zoom, noise reduction and Live View for video calls and checking cameras.
  • Doubles as a digital photo frame and includes physical camera/microphone disable and other privacy controls.

If you are not a prime member probably not worth bothering with not just for the price but you need prime to get full functionality of Alexa now which is included with prime. So be careful. I shall be selling my Echo speaker soon and stopping buying Amazon devices as I don't have prime and likely never will. It's vampire payment that can lead people into debt. Small payments that go on for years and years. The average amount of debt per person in the UK is approaching £5k not including mortgages. Servicing £5k of debt per month roughly averages about £100 of interest per month but will be considerably higher if all your debt is with credit card companies typically 2-3% a month so 5000 would be £150 at 3%. Vampire payments often make it difficult for people to clear their debts on their credit card fully each month. £150 interest per month is £1800 a year typically close to the net wage for a whole month for most people.
