I have been making my own at home for all my family and friends, just put them in an envelope and post them. Much cheaper
Did the same and posted a bunch to my boyfriends family in the north, there was a study that the cotton ones actually are the most filtering type so I'm happy about my there layer ones
very good deal! but what I did is to make my own from recycled materials at home.. quite easy to be honest.. one of my diys
Cheapest I've seen them so far, and some places are making it compulsory to wear when entering their premises
Good, I'm really waiting for the spread to finally stop. It's been a normal thing when coming sick with cough to our surgery before, you were handed a mask right away.
Alternatively, if you can leave the house or can wait for delivery, you may be able to buy a stack of fat quarters (ie. ALDI) and DIY some super easy, but still effective face masks
Aldi isn't consistent with the availability of these, easier would be ordering on amazon but easiest really just use an old tshirt or other cotton material (won't be the most comfortable but works.
Thanks for sharing, but I'm making my own masks,I can wash and sterilize them them with my UV light after being shopping.
How does that work, do you have some portable machine? We had a huge UV lamp at mums work to sterilise the whole room but it's not healthy for humans.
cookiewithcarro Hi,yes I have hand held UV light wand sanitizer that I purchased on EBay for £15.I know they work as, I have similar lights inside my Aquarium water pumps. Yes UV is harmful to humans, but you don't use them on people! They can be used on money, tinned food, the toilet bowl, and all inanimate objects
jimmyD very handy, the big one would be left on for some time in the room.
cookiewithcarro Hi, it only takes a few minutes using the wand UV lamp to destroy the DNA of Every Germ and Virus, so yes Very handy.
Handy indeed and makes me kinda want one, I just use iron for the cotton masks I made after a wash, though I've been wearing a scarf on my face for months without washing before all that and nothing happened so I don't know why WHO would say how harmful mask wearing is... Silly WHO. jimmyD
