UK's online game retailer, GameSeek has revealed their plans as to how customers will be able to pre-order a Switch Neon Edition for £198.50.

The jist of it is: Click on "Set Up Stock Alert" and GameSeek will alert you privately to have a chance to pre-order it.

Official Statement by GameSeek:

Since announcing that GameSeek would be returning the Nintendo Switch to sale at the £198.50 price tag a couple of weeks ago, we have been working hard to find a way to ensure that all of our customers are given a fair chance at securing a console.

Firstly, we'd like to thank everybody that has shown such great enthusiasm for this offer - we really appreciate the positive response we received on our website and on social media; and we're glad that this great offer has found its way to so many Nintendo fans.

We encouraged those that are looking to pre-order a Nintendo Switch on our website to set up a stock alert to be notified the moment that the consoles go on sale, and the demand as expected has been incredibly high.

Yesterday GameSeek posted on social media that the Nintendo Switch would be returning to sale shortly on our website, and traffic from this post alone was so high that it caused issues with our site - resulting in frustration amongst some customers that are worried that problems may arise when the consoles go on sale.

It is due to this and listening to our customer feedback that we have come up with an alternative solution. We feel we owe it to our customers to not have to worry about being online the moment it goes on sale.

GameSeek will be emailing customers individually to invite them to secure their Nintendo Switch pre-order. These emails will be sent at random to those that signed up to our stock alert, and we will continue to invite customers until all of our stock is spoken for.

We believe this is the most reasonable way to ensure that everybody looking to secure a Nintendo Switch at £198.50 on our website is given a fair chance.

Nintendo has confirmed that our stock will land on Monday/Tuesday. As soon as the stock lands we will be sending the emails out.
