Whie painting wood, always make sure to:

Please use for painting wood only.

Make sure to protect the work area with protective material, such as newspaper or disposable paper.

Work wearing comfortable work clothes and an apron.

Smooth all kits' wood surfaces carefully with sandpaper. Clean surface well from all sawdust and other debris, to make sure it is smooth and clean before painting.

Stirrers & Water Mini-Cup:

Fill the mini-cup with water and pour into the paint can, then stir well with the stirring tool until the mixture is uniform in colour and texture. You may add another mini-cup of water if you wish to further dilute the paint. Each mini-cup volume is approximately 10% of the paint amount in each can.

Make sure to stir each colour with a clean stirring tool.

While working, make sure to cover the open paint can to avoid the content of the paint in the paint can from drying.

Brush:

The brush is 0.5" wide and can be dipped directly into the paint can.

Choose the colour you want to paint with and dip the brush into the paint can.

Wipe excess paint from the brush using the can's rims.

Paint the wood with a thin coat.

Wait about 10 minutes between each coat and 30 minutes for the kit to dry completely. Two coats of paint are recommended for best results.

It is also recommended to use a clear coat of varnish for colour protection (not included in kit)

The thin paintbrush also can be dipped directly into the paint canand used to paint delicate drawings and decorations on your kit.

When you finish painting, make sure to firmly close all the paint cans before storing them away; we recommend that you use the rubber end of your Red Tool Box Mini Hammer.

Wash both brush and paint brush well and dry them for storage.

Remember to keep paint cans stored in a cool dark and dry place.
