It's all about hand soap on here currently. If you don't post soap deals, you ain't down with the Latest Deals posse so here we go.

If you refill your Carex bottle with this stuff, it'll cost you 66p a bottle. Buy two of these, the delivery charge will stay the same and cost you a total of £20.36. That'll work out as 51p per Carex bottle. Think of the convenience of not needing to join the great unwashed in Asda and the plastic usage you will be cutting down on. With the saving on top, what's not to love?

The soap is actually £7.18. I know it goes against people's usual way of doing things on here but have added the delivery charge. I believe it is £5 + VAT but could just be £5.

EDIT: This is out of stock but the alternative is still available for a quid more: https://www.sheffieldcleaningsupplies.co.uk/product/bio-dox-bactericidal-hand-soap-5-litres/

Doesn't look to be anti bacterial, which is important nowadays

Tomp23 It makes very little to no difference. If somebody doesn't wash their hands thoroughly, the type of soap doesn't magically make them cleaner.

Also, how is washing your hands more important 'nowadays'?! It's amazing how people seem to think hygiene is suddenly important. No wonder some McDonald's touchscreens contain traces of faeces.

any hand soap washes off most of the cells and breaks down the fatty layer around the cells of germs and viruses that come into contact with it, if you wash for the recommended happy birthday twice its unlikely that any harmful cells will be left on your hands. There was a few years ago a programme about "anti bacterial washing up liquid" which was a waste of money as normal washing up liquid did exactly the same thing - it was just a marketing gimmick for consumers.

noseymoomoo Yes exactly. People fall for anything if marketing tells them it is better.

Alternative if you insist on having one that says 'antibacterial' on the label:

That's £14.28 total including P&P.
