Best Price Riddick RD500 650B 18 Speed Alloy Mountain Bike - B Grade

Please note this bike was originally only available in 20" frame size so for taller riders only but now other sizes are available at the same price. It is also 'B' grade but as I write this there are 68 in stock so could be a bulk return of stock or similar.

For the price looks amazing, sub £300 price but decent XCM forks with hydraulic lockout, hydraulic disc brakes, smooth weld frame and very good quality drivetrain including a Deore chainset/crankset which is actually above the rest of the drivetrain rather than being below it which is typical. I.e. many bikes will have a Altus drivetrain but fit a lower end suntour crankset.

Don't let the 18 speed bit confuse you, this is not a 3x6 freewheel based drivetrain it is a 2x9 drivetrain. Also note the hubs are Shimano not lower end generic or Quando. They are only TX hubs but still an upgrade on a typical bike at this price range. The geometry of the frame also looks quite modern.

Parkers of Bolton have a tendency to increase prices when bikes start shifting quickly so I wouldn't be surprised if this goes to £299 in a few days..

Please note as is the case with all bikes from the internet that need assembly, you will need to be competent assembling it and giving it a service and checkover before first ride. Parkers of Bolton are pretty much a box shifter. If you are not capable of doing that you would be far better off getting a bike from a local shop that can set the bike up for you before you take delivery.
