The smell and texture are ok but I feel the cloth was a bit gimmicky, certainly didn't open or close my pores, after following the instructions. My skin was red, blotchy and had a slight burning feel to it after using this, which took about an hour to die down.

Hot cloth cleansers are ace. Always the most effective at leaving skin looking fresh, glowing and soft. They even out skin tone nicely too. I haven't tried this one yet. I believe the trick is to not put too much on and to rinse thoroughly, also to make the most use of the heat and absorbtion. I still forget sometimes and realise when my face gets a little itchy! Took me a while to get the routine right with these as rarely any clear instructions but honestly really straight forward once you have the full directions and quite quick to do!
Just to add, any cream type facial cleansers can be used as a hot cloth cleanser so may be possible to try with a cleanser already at home to see if the method suits first before purchasing a purpose based product.
