The reviews on Amazon are for the product but will also include reviews for it sold by 'Other Sellers' on Amazon. Occasionally 'other sellers' do try to sell fake product, but quickly get shut down / banned by Amazon and have any fake product held in the Amazon warehouses destroyed. If the product you buy is not sold or fulfilled by Amazon you increase your risk of fakes.
However, if the fragrance you buy is 'Dispatched from and sold by Amazon' you reduce your risk of buying a fake to almost zero (i.e. about the same as buying from House of Fraser or John Lewis).
Another tip is to always be sure to sort reviews by 'Most Recent' otherwise you risk reading reviews that are not for the current product and not supplied by the current suppliers.
