Terrible deal for what is in essence a really base level Core i3 processor based machine with a small 14 inch screen.
They love to throw in the Pentium "GOLD" moniker but few people actually have a clue what it is and that its actually poor mans Core I3.
My boyfriend repairs and refurbishes laptops, tv's and other electronics.
He recently bought 10 Dell E5530 Laptops off ebay for £50 each with core-i7 processors , 15 inch screens and they are amazing.
His advice - search ebay for Dell E5530 Laptop - spares or repairs and check the small print - usually they will not have memory or hard disks and operating systems and a few scratches but are in perfect working condition - for £20 for a 120gb ssd , £10 for 4gb ram and a quick google on youtube on how to get it all fitted and up and running you will have a machine that is twice as powerful as this one and only cost you £80. You can get a copy of windows 7 or 10 on ebay for as little as £7 or install Linux and openoffice for free!
Bestoffer No probs just there are a lot of skint folks out there and on here looking for deals and its possible to build your own laptop easily and cheaply rather than fork out for these - my BF has 30 years in IT so he does know what he is talking about.
He says Lenovo is actually a good brand for laptops rather than Acer and the other cheapos but its well overpriced!
