Wife’s 30 year old Kenwood gave up the ghost last week, have bought this as a replacement. So far it seems very good, all metal construction, stainless steel bow, acrylic splash guard. Three tools included.

It is John Lewis policy to always honour the manufacturer's guarantee period where offered. Normally that's a year. But Kenwood offer a 5 year guarantee on their Stand Mixers as standard. In addition to the first year manufacturer's guarantee on all electrical and technology products John Lewis provides a second year service guarantee at no extra cost. What I particularly like about John Lewis is they don't tend to quibble if anything goes wrong and are more helpful to deal with than many retailers.
