Both models here are well kitted out for the money. They carry the Schecter HB-105S active pickup sets and have 24 Jumbo frets. It should be a bit of a shredding beast. If you aren't comfortable with floating trem systems then the thru body would be the way to go.

Personally they've grown on my over time, although I do get why people find them annoying. They are super fun to play about with and once you've learned to set them up and restring, they're totally fine.
