It's a big discount but remember these are highly proprietary and the frame is completely linked to the motor as is the battery. Any one of those fails/breaks then you are in for huge bills which might make it beyond economic repair. Also the front suspension is a coil fork rather than air so feels a bit cheap considering the original retail price. The ebike is 2000 pounds but its not uncommon to have repair bills close to 1000 or more if the motor fails out of warranty and often when a frame is damaged it might cost a minimum of 1000 pounds. The frame maybe available at a special crash replacement price of 800 pounds and then you might have 300 pounds or more in labour to move components across to the new frame. It seems a decent e-mountain bike except for the rather cheap front suspension fork but if you do use it properly off-road things can get damaged quite easily. It's not an ideal design for general commuting and road riding.
