Hey SkyUK thank you for your first post! How are you finding Latest Deals? Here are some tips and tricks to help you get started:

Looking forward to your next one!
SkyUK Thank you that's great. I'm afraid I can't say exactly what you have to do to "unlock" the ability, as it was created to prevent self-promotion on the site. You should be able to post deals from over 3,000+ other retailers, and even Amazon products sold by Amazon itself (such as Amazon branded goods). Just not Amazon marketplace deals sold by third-parties.
Tom thanks - will hopefully pass the limit at some point soon
Last reply (sorry, lol), but could I suggest automatic guides / buying advice that are included with certain deals... it'd be a huge improvement for the site, and help customers no end.
Lots of things are shared that look like great deals, and with the best of intentions I'm sure, but with a bit of background are companies being 'creative' with the details, or trying to get rid of old stock etc
For example there have been lots of Chromebooks which are old models, with very short support life - but most customers wouldn't know that and could be stung - see this for example (with my comments, and lots of people thanking me for them) - https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/posts/61ac4887b892ef6f3bed0b51
Also projectors that say high quality or 1080p supported, but actually have terrible resolution - see this one as an example - https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/posts/61bf6cec1c3ee9723081f2a1
Again these are likely shared with the best of intention, but buying guides for products which need a little background knowledge would be great.. when someone posts something with a keyword you could have a process that asks the poster 'is this a projector - yes / no', then include your buying guide on the post?
I'd also say a dislike button would help push bad deals away, and again improve the site
If you've read all that thanks very much - all the above is meant as constructive, but I just want to say the site is great, I've bought a few things from here and you're all doing great, just wanted to share my thoughts
Happy New Year
SkyUK yeh I would love this. The dream, actually. Which is why we always value comments that point such things out. The technical challenge we’ve yet to crack is how to accurately determine the exact product a deal is relating to. The answer will lie in some sort of scraping / visual AI solution with a big product database…
As for a dislike button, that is on the cards for something we might try for the first time this year! It’s currently available in the Latest Deals app on the “rate” function and proven to be popular so we may extend it.
Gotta go get my son to sleep now, thanks again
