I have done this has thought that it was a great idea but have been charged 9.99 they are asking for a referral code . Any idea what as gone on?

This is a great little offer!! I love cooking with spices so I'm definitely in for a £1 What's not to like!! And it's a great way to learn about spices in cooking for people who aren't that confident in the kitchen!! Thanks for sharing

I subscribe to Simply Cook and pretty much every kit we have ordered has been fantastic. The curries are restaurant quality and the chicken black bean is to die for. I initially cancelled after a few kits as I thought £9.99 was too expensive and almost immediately got an email offering a reduction to £7.99 so that is what I pay now. I’ve set my deliveries to every 6 weeks. One word of advice is to make sure you choose your kits before delivery dates because if you forget they will send you a random pack of stuff you might not like. The instructions are good and fun to cook, you can always switch ingredients or add stuff, ie with the Thai Prawn Curry, I switch prawns for chicken (pre cooked) and add baby sweet corn/mange tout.... have fun

I wonder what they class as 'your 7 day trial period' before you can cancel subscription after receiving the £1 trial box. Bit of a worry that you might end up receiving a full price box within the time period.
