JacquiGreen Yeah there doesnt seem to be such a sthing as a clever plumber who doesnt try and rip you off. Had one so called reliable recommended on the social media that was supposed to be the best but my boyfriend grilled him and he was a complete numpty so my bf is doing the job instead lol He quoted £150 then when he arrived it went up to £220 then after a bit more looking around it was £220+ then the bf told him to get lost!
Why is it so hard to find tradesmen who wont rip you off and lie especially when they think you are just a stupid woman - so annoying.
Lydskyd completely agree. I need someone to do some tiling in my bathroom but it costs so much to do. May youtube it and try to give it ago myself lol 
JacquiGreen Haha my boyfriend was a tiler for 20 years with his dad.
He says its easy if its just a square wall or floor - gets difficult with certain tiles and cutting around sinks etc but it can be done - us girls have to do as well as the men!

My boyfriend can do any job plumbing, car mechanics, woodwork his dad taught him well even repaired his own plasma telly , computers and any electrical work - never had to employ a tradesman in his life but he swears even he learns stuff from this guy:-
