Well I've decided to do strawbs this summer so looked for a practical inexpensive planter (The full size terracotta ones are £40 -£50 !) . I've bought one so you know its the cheapest I can find !
Saw this one on Amazon and read the reviews , liked it so checked for it on EBay (as we always should ) and found the identical item for £14.99 . Consists of 6 interlocking pieces of 3 pots each .
Note second picture is of 2 items stacked on top of each other . Further sets of six are £14.24 .
Can also be used as an attractive flower tower . Only down point in the reviews is that you have to drill a hole in the bottom of each pocket (be careful it's plastic .
I'm growing some strawberries from seed but have also ordered some dormant plants as some seed varieties don't crop heavily in their first year .
I'll put this in the greenhouse , they can of course be grown outdoors but will need to be netted as the pesky birds will have your crop first .
