We buy them in our house and to be honest nobody knows the difference between this and the normal Tesco’s one I use to buy in my house
I sometimes do myself a bowl of vegetables but adding some gravy makes it much nicer. I tend to use these granules plus a stock cube typically beef. It's like a mini roast without the meat. I honestly can't tell the difference between these and higher price alternatives. Just as nice so no point paying more. Really like the stockwell range but its' not as extensive as the 'everyday value' brand but certainly is packaged nicer. I think Lidl charge 90p for granules although possibly a slightly larger container not sure. As ever it makes sense to shop around and make no assumptions on value. In the hearty food range Tesco do a 'toad in the hole' for about 65p. I've used that with mash and peas with this gravy and a surprisingly nice meal for just pence a portion.
This is a fantastic price for gravy granules. Thank you for sharing this offer today it's a great find.
OMG 20p what a great deal, has anyone actually tried this, and if so what does it taste like ?
I can confirm I buy this all the time, and none of the fussy eaters in my family have given any negative feedback about this gravy. It maintains a thick gravy consistency.
I bought this for the first time the other day and I added a little Bisto to make the taste stronger so it's still a superb saving as I won't need to use as much of the expensive stuff. It'll also be great in thickening and beefing up stews, chilli, Bolognese etc so it's super handy even if you're not keen on using it as gravy
