wow this is a great deal - has anyone actual order from muscle food before ive not heard o fit before
I have ordered and I will say that I wasn't impressed, I gave it a really good go too, 4 orders in total, the meat isn't loaded with salt which is great, the flavour does indeed come from your own ingredients which again is great. The reason I wasn't impressed because I like to cook chicken in the slow cooker alone and it was really dry almost inedible, the same can be said for all their meats it's devoid of moisture. I normally buy m&s chicken & meats and that's lovely, it's not over loaded with salt either, I can't honestly say there was much of a saving because it was so bland, despite being a chef my culinary skills struggled to make a meals for my kids to enjoy. They are fit and healthy so I'm going to continue with m&s meats. Worth a try but it's not for us. I would say give it a go, I received all my orders. Delivery is hit and miss there's no phone number but all of the issues I had were resolved via email.
THIS IS NOT A GOOD DEAL. I went to Aldi website and worked out the prices for all items in these hampers. If you bought the same items in Aldi (different brand obviously) you would pay £55.08 for all these items. If you got them on yellow/red stickers you would even pay less. If you bought them in Aldi (except that I could not find the price for Chipolata sausages so I took the price from Tesco as £2.50) the price of 1st hamper is £36.67, 2nd is £9.99 and 3rd is £8.42. Total £55.08. Therefore, you are not saving money if you buy these hampers. They make it look like it is a good deal but there is not much in these hampers. Always do your research before buying anything! Obviously food in these hampers may be of a better quality than if you bought them in Aldi but I cannot comment on the quality just the price.
That's very true, the quality isn't that good from muscle foods. You don't always get what you pay for. It's all about how you cook it. I've cooked things from also and they are no different. I only prefer m&s because I'm lazy and it's by my work
I can't get enough of muscle food meat and other products my fridge and freezer are always full
There's one in next town to us Astley meat mart . They do the same deal . May be same people on here
I had a couple of orders from these and whilst the meat was really nice you can get it cheaper elsewhere. Also I was hounded with emails and texts.
I found some of the meat first class but for the £60 i wouldn't buy it again.I can get a great meat parcel at my local butcher with first class meat for a lot cheaper.Mystery boxes and other things promised when you buy had strings attached to sign up monthly to them.
Was considering purchasing but after these comments I think I'll stick to my butcher. Thanks for sharing x
