ABOUT - The intensely powerful Talisker family is 'Made By The Sea'. Characterised by a spicy-smoky taste, which comes from the burnt peat during malting. The whisky carries the salty smoke of the island exposed to the wind and waves. TASTING NOTES - Skye is the fresher, lighter brother of the 10-year-old Talisker. The crisp citrus aromas and subtle sweetness are enhanced by the ageing in refill and charred American oak casks, which provide depth of flavour. Under the smoke you can taste soft fruits and cereal notes with a distinct peppery finish. HOW TO ENJOY - The Talisker Skye is a balanced, accessible scotch whisky made right by the sea on the rugged Isle of Skye that delights with a lively interplay of sweetness, smoke and spice.
