Great price for this coffee machine I love my coffee

I love Tassimo coffee and used to have this machine but in the end I resented the price of the coffee and used a bean to cup machine instead which while more expensive to buy makes far cheaper coffee. I think many people give up their Tassimo's because of the the price of the coffee so if you are environmentally and price conscious you often see them in charity shops for £5 approx. This is still a great deal though and a very nice compact machine. Just look at the prices of the pods first before buying. 8 drinks for £4-5 sometimes is quite expensive. I can buy coffee in Wetherspoons for less effectively as they allow free refills so if I buy a £1.40 cappuccino and have 2 refills that is less than 50p a cup. Last time I went in it was only 99p a cup.

They will need occasional maintenance too, i.e. cleaning tablets you buy to add to the water and removes all the scale that builds up. I guess depending on how often you use the machine, maybe once every year to 2 years. This might depend where you live. My house has quite soft water but my mother who lives nearby strangely has very hard water. Generally it varies by area.

Often offered at this price, I have had Dolce Gusto and Tassimo and definitely prefer Tassimo, buy the pods without milk as it’s a bit yuck and then you get 16 drinks instead of 8! Use milk heated in microwave and froth with a small handheld frothier or frother jug. Cheapest pods via Amazon.
