I did not know coconut oil could be used as moisturiser too! Have you tried it? I imagine it to leave an unpleasant residue
Coconut oil can be used as make up remover too. Doesn't leave residue. But i would use pure vigin coconut oil. Not with ginger in it.
I use quite a wide variety of coconut oils marketed for consumption as moisturiser, and it’s fantastic. Great for helping people with dry skin issues. Can’t say I’ve noticed residue issues, as it absorbs well, but some coconut oils are smellier than others
Also, it’s a great alternative to toothpaste as well - I found myself without toothpaste once and read online that coconut oil does the trick, and it really does (no bad breath the next morning too!)
shaienakther Yes I’ve never tried ginger with it myself, but I can imagine using it as a kind of cleanser, or perhaps to sooth irritated skin as ginger has anti inflammatory properties
I ain’t tried it myself either, but I’m thinking of using it as a scrub or cleanser, particularly for puffy skin
have never seen this variation of coconut oil before - very interesting. Thanks for sharing
You’re welcome. Ive never come across this variety either, nor have I used the brand. The reviews are good though
Thanks for the update - I checked and it’s probably because the ones that had the expiration date of April 2018 have sold out...or they’re just trying to male more money from it
