With a secure lace-up style, the upper is crafted from Premium Timberland leather, ReBOTL fabric lining made from at least 50% recycled PET plastic, OrthoLite comfort foam footbed, compression-moulded EVA midsole and durable rubber lug outsole. This environmentally-friendly material has been created by collecting non-biodegradable PET plastic bottles, recycling them, and turning them into RPET yarns (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate). This material allows Timberland to design products made with 50% recycled PET, with the aim of almost completely reducing the environmental impact of various production processes. Timberland supports responsible manufacturing of leather via the Leather Working Group. One or more major components use at least 50% leather tanned in a facility rated Silver or higher by a third–party environmental audit.
