Are Property Prices Heading for a Nose Dive?
For the first time since 2009, the asking prices for property has fallen. Rightmove, the giant property website, noted a 0.4% fall in June. The biggest changes were in London, down -2.4%. The North West still had strong growth at 2.6% up on May.
Most First Time Buyers Regret Not Negotiating
51% of first time buyers regret not hammering out a better deal. A study from Barclays Mortgages found they rushed into the decision and paniced on the asking price. If property prices are falling (see above), it's more important than ever to negotiate.
