Saving is actually about 3 quid because it's £14.99 reduced from an original price of £17.99 in Argos. I get 30% off Argos through one of my top secret money saving schemes but for anybody else, it's only 50p more than Amazon with no Prime needed to have it today via free click & collect.
The discounted prices on Ebay/Amazon is just SCAM marketing used to trick people’s eyes and minds. Same principles copied from Sports Direct using this SCAM marketing for years with HUGE FAKED “discounts” shown on their price labels.
AShakirQassab Do you mean it will only work with one or the other or it is restricted to 2.4Ghz?
Scrap that question. I just saw the spec. That isn't good at all. Thanks for pointing that out. No wonder it's cheap!
Dennab exactly, it will amplify only the 2.4 Hz , you need dual , to cover both 2.4 and 5 Hz
Do these gadgets really work? Someone once explained it to me that if the signal is extended then it compromises the strength/reliability of the signal. Not sure if that's true or not though.
I'm not an expert but I have this one in my house. Before - no internet in bedroom. After - internet in bedroom.
I've had my own computer and network business for over 25 yes. These things, need half of your signal before you start. There a gimmick, not worth using at all. This one is only the 2.4 band. Also your internet security is also compromised, as people don't set them up correctly. Don't touch them.
I have this one, worked for me we can now get WiFi outside where we couldn’t before
