Of course it’s on sale now after I bought it full price although would recommend hubby is pleased
ChristinaFinlay is it worth the money as I was going to buy one a while ago.
Can you link your phone up to it ?
rossruby1977 go to amazon and read the reviews on it by all accounts its well worth £36.99
rossruby1977 hubby hasn’t set it up properly yet but think he said yeah to phone being linked and he’s really happy with it first look it can connect to tablet and iPad etc so should do phone we bought it for the garden for the footie and it’s perfect he says
I took the plunge and bought it. Been thinking about one for a while. Be good for the great nephew. See how it goes. Then may save up for a proper good one later.
i just bought one i read the amazon reviews and its all good just have to wait n see for my self for the price i am not expecting to much i did have a 720p projector before it cost £180 and the fan was loud oh well, its coming tuesday
We got 1 of these for are kids rooms it’s fabulous we got a block out roller blind to work it on there defo a good by thanks for sharing
Wow amazing price really for all this technology. In the early days home projectors were thousands of pounds and gave absolute crap images and now less than £40 for something that gives decent 720p images. A good selection of ports too.
Great, thanks ! Been meaning to 'dip my toe in the water' with these for a while and this seems like the perfect feature-packed (albeit starter) system for infrequent use. Cheers
I’ve got this projector and Tbf it’s not bad and for that price it’s a steal. Sound quality isn’t great but we linked a Bluetooth speaker and project onto the kids bedroom wall. Outside I bought a cheap fold out screen and hang it on garage wall for outdoor movie nights.
It is complete rubbish. Not HD, very poor lenses and very dim, only use in blackout with small screen. Do not be conned. Any decent projector will be at least £300
do you have this projector? If not you are generalising especially with your comment about needing to spend at least £300, which I consider to be nonsense.
I have a few projectors around the £90-£100 mark (paid less on deals), I also have a £1200 Panasonic one.
In my experience (at this price point) these vary widely in screen image even given the same manufacturer / model (I've had 5 the same to compare). If you want my advice, go for at least 720p (1200x720), try to find out whether it has both manual and digital keystone (this will help with getting the image rectangular with less blur at the top or the bottom). My best low budget projector cost £47, is bright with good focus and has a good feature set, so it can be done.
I've given this one a shot to see how it compares, I'll let you know
lcarlton I think most people expect it not to be a pro version. Even £300 one is cheap.
I think it’s mainly going to be for kids. And people that want to sit outside for a home cinema. But if they can’t see nothing, then it’s going to be pointless.
The kids will love it.
And i am sure people are getting some degree of quality due to the good reviews.
