Virtual Private Network - VPN shields your country and identity so you can watch content from YouTube, Netflix, Disney+ and other platforms that are blocked in the UK as long as you have the appropriate subscription in the UK in place.
(You will need to pay for Netflix subscriptions etc. separately).
You only need one subscription which covers all your devices including Android, iOS, Windows or MacOS. Atlas VPN have some of the fastest speeds on the market with ultra fast 4K streaming speeds.
Most people watch streaming services in a TV which a VPN does not work with. So unless this deal includes a DNS service it's not worthwhile
Addsey I use a VPN on my FireTV with Netflix installed. Works fine. Switch between them when I need to. Just need to make sure that the VPN is available on the device.
So how do you access the VPN through a smart TV connected by a WiFi cable from the router.?
By getting a router that specifically allows you to use a VPN, which cost a lot of money (hundreds of pounds). This deal is a waste of time unless you watch Netflix on a PC or laptop and it's getting increasingly annoying seeing it all the time being advertised on here. It's misleading and a crock of bullshit.
RamzanKadyrov would you recommend any particular brand or site to look for a special router please? Thanks for posting this deal emmabeckz, you’ve given me food for thought
HappyTravels changing your router and using a VPN with it is not for your average person you need to be a bit tech savvy and it's certainly not something worth doing unless your goal is to mask your internet use from the outside world.
If you just want USA Netflix get a DNS service
HappyTravels this is who I use and they currently have a 60% off discount code. https://ironsocket.com/blog/valentines-isnt-just-about-roses-and-candies-get-60-off-just-because/
This gives you a VPN, Smart DNS and a proxy service (for torrents).
Addsey thanks for the link and info. You’re right, it sounds a bit too high tech for me. We have yet to buy a smart tv and only have a vpn for using on the iPad, mobile phone and laptop.
Do you use a vpn router for your tv? Trying to figure out how to vpn-proof a smart tv. My head hurts
HappyTravels it depends, what exactly is it your trying to do with the TV? Are you just trying to access another countries Netflix or are you wanting to mask all content your viewing on the TV? I signed to Netflix using the VPN in my computer to make them think I was in Argentina for much cheaper subscription then I use Smart DNS on my TV so I can watch Netflix USA which is fairly straight forward
Addsey that sounds like a plan tell me about the Smart DNS on the TV if you would please,
HappyTravels just invest in a Amazon firestick 4k. I've tried it but with a different VPN provider. A lot cheaper.
ThomasRonaldPhi well basically if you pay for a smart DNS service, the company will give you 2 DNS numbers which you inout into your TV network settings. The service I use then let's you choose which country you want to view each app through. For instance when I watch Netflix it automatically picks USA, or if I change to BBCiplayer it uses a Uk proxy.
I still use a VPN service which is included in the same package but I only use it when I first subscribe too packages.
For instance I have YouTube premium which I signed up to from India so it's only £2-3 a month. Netflix I sign up from Argentina so it's £4.85 a month for the top package. Xbox live I only pay £25 a year buy buying it through Brazil
Is any one using this service? Can some one confirm does it have Indian servers? I have some Indian subscription services that works with Indian VPN servers only.
Misleading title. It should state clearly you're only buying a subscription to a virtual private network (VPN) so that you can hide your country. Hence enabling breaking of the access restrictions on content from the USA etc. If you want the USA netflix it still has to be paid for separately.
I so wish I new how to use vpn, I’m just not clued up on the likes of this. I’m sure it’s a fantastic deal for others.
